2023 PsyYoung Conference
We are pleased to announce the upcoming one-day conference of the “PsyYoung” project scheduled for November 2023 at the Maison de l’enfance et de l’adolescence (MEA) in Geneva.. PsyYoung is a health promotion project aimed at optimizing early detection of psychoses, raising awareness about early intervention, and promoting the mental health of young individuals.
This year’s conference will focus on new perspectives in early intervention for mental health, featuring presentations on artificial intelligence in early intervention research, the innovative implementation of an early intervention programme for young people in Denmark, and the development of mental health projects involving people with lived experience. Additionally, workshops will be offered, promoting concrete mental health prevention projects for young people, including, the presentation and the use of a symptom app, introducing mindfulness for young people’s mental health prevention, and setting-up a service with contact points for supporting mental health of adolescents and young people in the Netherlands. Finally, the day will conclude with training sessions available in both German and French, aimed at raising awareness among clinical professionals about early detection tools for psychotic risks.
