PsyYoung trainings
We offer half-day training courses to familiarise you with the basic concepts of early detection of psychosis in adolescents and young adults, and to raise your awareness of these “mental states at risk”.
In addition to raising awareness, the aim of the training is to impart knowledge that will enable you to recognise the presence of possible at-risk states and refer the person concerned appropriately to other offers of help, or to our specialist early detection and intervention services, depending on the patient’s age.
Course content
- Introduction to the concepts of early detection and intervention for at-risk psychological states and incipient psychosis.
- Passing on knowledge about how to identify a possible “mental state at risk”.
- Introduction to the screening tool – “PQ-16” self-assessment questionnaire for the young people concerned.
- Presentation of an optimised care pathway for the patient to specialist services, taking into account specific severity thresholds.
